VERSATEC CADcolor [Xerox Engineering Systems -- Versatec Products]

CADcolor is a low-cost, high-performance, multipass, color electrostaticplotting system with a dual array head and 300 points per inchresolution. CADcolor automatically cuts and rolls plots and holds them ina catch tray at the front of the plotter. CADcolor works with SPARC-based workstations and 386-based PCs and handles HP-GL and HP-GL/2 dataformats.The CADcolor plotting system includes a high-speed Versatec ParallelInterface (VPI) board and HP-GL/2 rasterizing software. CADcolorsupports environments with local area network (LAN) requirements forsharing resources. Network/spooling software is included for multipleusers on MS-DOS networks. CADcolor easily operates in SPARC-basedworkstation networked environments. CADcolor allows six user-selectablespeeds up to 1.25 inches per second.
